What is the difference between an "Invoice" and a "Factura"?
What is the difference between an "Invoice" and a "Factura"?
Updated over 6 months ago

Coba uses the term Invoice to describe the document that a remote worker / consultant shares with their client in the United State in order to provide proof of services provided and receive their payment.

Coba uses the term Factura to describe the document that is registered with the SAT in Mexico to declare income that hs been received. A Factura for the SAT needs to be declared in Mexican Pesos. When a Coba Member requests that a Factura be generated for a payment that they have received in USD from a US Client, Coba will automatically generate the Factura with the appropriate conversion to Mexican Pesos and file the Factura with the SAT.
