Step-by-Step: Connecting Coba with Zelle
Zelle connects to your US Deposit Account, so you’ll be adding your Coba account like any US account:
1. Sign up to Zelle:
Open your Zelle app and sign up using your phone number. If you already have set up Zelle before, jump to section Unlink Zelle from other banks.
Agree to the terms and conditions, and add your email.
Verify your email with the code they will send
2. Add your Coba US Debit Card:
Zelle will prompt a screen with the title "Find Your Bank", type "Coba" and then click "Don't See Your Bank?"
You will be prompted to the "Add Debit Card" screen, where you will enter your Coba US Debit Card details.
Add the address located in the Coba US Debit Card section - if the address is from Mexico, type the Mexican Address with its Zipcode, despite it will be linked to a US State.
Continue and confirm all details to make the Coba US Deposit Account your default account.
To verify Everything is up and running, go to the 'Accounts' Sections and verify your account is recognized with the name of our Sponsor Bank.
3. [If you already have a Zelle Account] Unlink Zelle from other banks
Just go to the section where Zelle provides the option to unlink the bank account or delete your current phone number to sign up from scratch.
Best Practices & Security Tips
Avoid using public Wi-Fi or 5G connections while adding your account for security reasons.
Always double-check that the name on your Zelle account matches the name on your Coba account for a smooth setup.
Keep your account and routing numbers private—only use them within secure, trusted apps like Zelle and avoid sharing them publicly.
